Gazzano is an American and Italian artist with a PhD in anthropology and ten years university teaching experience. She creates fieldwork-based performances, visual works and relational art projects that address crucial global issues, empowering diverse social groups to reclaim voice and agency in regards to the violation of their human rights and the destruction of their natural and cultural environment.
